Celebrating the Community
Tuesday, January30, 2024
On this day we celebrate all of the communities in which we live and grow. These include our communities of our school and our classrooms, our parish, our families, our town, diocese, nation, and the world at large.
Our special guests, First Officer Brett Barthol of Southwest Airlines and Mr. Jeff Korando of Korando Heating and Cooling joined the students today and shared some information about their careers. The students enjoyed both presentations and offer tremendous gratitude to these gentlemen for sharing their time and expertise.
Celebrating Vocations
Wednesday
January 31, 2024
Dare to Dream! Today we celebrated religious vocations. The day began with Mass where students sat in special communities and displayed their handmade banners. Father Sebastian and Sisters Jan & Cecilia visited and spoke with all of the students in the morning then joined us for lunch. Following lunch the students serenaded our guests with a special performance which you can see by clicking on the video to the right.

YAY! for SMS STUDENTS!
Today, our little Hawks hopped on a bus and migrated to the cinema today to see the movie, Migration. They returned to school to eat lunch in their communities formed especially for Catholic Schools' Week. The afternoon was filled with activities designed to challenge and showcase their physical, intellectual, and artistic gifts. Students were inspirational in their willingness and ability to collaborate.
